Where to Cheer on Your Washington Redskins

This Sunday will mark an unexpected event…. the Washington Redskins are in the PLAYOFFS! Whether you are a die hard Washington Redskins fan or just jumping on the bandwagon, watching the game this Sunday night will be a must for many of us at The Kenmore.  We are fortunate at The Kenmore to have several options nearby that are guaranteed to have a great crowd for the NFC wild card game and also have game day specials. So, throw on all the burgundy and gold you have and help cheer on your team at one of the following establishments.

Right down the road from us is Jake’s American Grill.  You won’t have to worry about finding a spot in front of a tv at Jake’s as they have four tv’s upstairs and 9 tv’s downstairs. Plus, they will be providing drink specials during the game!  Head a little further south and check out Tenley Bar and Grill.  With its multi-level bars and several LED flat screens you are sure to be among several fans rooting on the Redskins.  Head a little north to Bethesda and check out Tommy Joe’s or Redwood Restaurant and Bar.  Tommy Joe’s will be providing happy hour all day which includes both drink and half priced non-seafood appetizers.  Also, they will be having several other food specials for the game. Over at Redwood, enjoy their specials for the game such as $8 nacho’s and wings and $10 burgers. They will also be having happy hour specials all evening.  Get fueled up for the game with a champagne brunch at Chads Friendship Heights and stay to watch the game on one of their flat screen tv’s. Plus, Pete Bergen will be filming his Barcaster segment for 120 Sports during the game!  Also, in the Friendship Heights area, Clyde’s of Chevy Chase will be providing drink and food specials for the game in their Race Bar, which is located in the lower level of Clyde’s.

No matter where you end up on Sunday have fun and enjoy the moment.  As many of us know here at The Kenmore, it could be some time before the Redskins are in the playoffs once again.  #HTTR!
