There are Asian fusion restaurants everywhere, but there is something deliciously different about the offering at newly opened Chiko. The Bethesda location follows two popular spots in DC and offers the same great menu of Chinese and Korean dishes with a modern, chef-driven spin.
Enjoy dumplings, pot stickers, and noodle dishes, each with interesting flavor combinations that far exceed your normal pork or chicken fillings. Rich lamb seasoned with cumin, pungent kimchi, and spicy Sichuan broth give the dishes at Chiko a clear edge amongst the competition. Other standout dishes include dry-rubbed wings, Brussels sprouts in a sticky-sweet sauce, and Korean potato and egg salad. Chiko also features a dim sum brunch on weekends with a la carte and combination meals, plus special events like dumpling week (which often sells out in a hurry).
Check the website to stay on top of seasonal offerings, or place your order for pick-up or delivery to enjoy at your Connecticut Avenue apartment.
